Call them Riot Grrrl, Punk, Alternative, whatever you want; there is only one thing for certain about Seattle's 7 Year Bitch; they were hardcore rockers. Finding their inspiration from Mia Zapata's punk band The Gits, who were also on the same label as Bitch, this all girl band pulled out all the stops by spilling out real, full-on songs that were always in-your-face.

The band's second effort, 'Viva Zapata', pays homage to the late Mia Zapata, who was brutally slain in Seattle in 1993. Their final record, Gato Negra, was to be the bands big break; however, sadly enough, this would be the bands final release. Oh where are they now?
