Dark Tranquillity is Gothic Metal band from Sweden. Their early stuff is pretty brutal Death Metal; however, don't let that fool you, their last few albums are still heavy, they have just matured as a band since the first few releases and now employ a wide range of musical styles. They frequently appear on Music Choice Metal and have enjoyed success in the states with that last two releases, 'Damage Done' and 'Character'.
