Ripe (1998)

Front
Back

Without a doubt, this is my favorite of the five CDs she put out. It's a great follow-up to Planet X, supporting the fact that Erika has left her AOR/Pop sound behind. Although this album certainly has a harder edge than its predecessor, it still shares a lot of upbeat tempos, but with massive walls of guitars. I can't begin to tell you how incredibly infectious this CD is; from start to finish, Erika's voice echoes with sexual prowess. The only negative thing I can say about this CD is the incredibly horrible graphics package. The teal color scheme is nice but the photographs stink all the way around. I don't get the purpose of the effect on the front cover. If they just left the photo as is, they would have been much better off.
