In the Arms of a Stranger (1991)

Front

This is the follow-up to Cold Winter Night and while Erika still presents her vocal talent, this album lacks the fire of her first. The guitar is more evident on this album, which could be influenced by her (at that time) husband Yngwie Malmsteen. The layered keyboard and guitars on this album will certainly wear you out about midway through. If you heard the first five tracks, you pretty much heard the entire disk. It is still filled with catchy hooks and great chorus'. If it weren't for her vocal treatments, this album wouldn't thrill me all that much after hearing the others.
