Awesome Sludge, Doom, Stoner Rock band from the USA born out of the ashes of Burning Witch and Thorr's Hammer. Greg Anderson and Stephen O'Malley are also involved with the Drone Metal band Sunn O))), as well as many other side projects, such as Teeth of Lions Rule the Divine. Another member of Goatsnake, Stuart Dahlquist (bass), has also been in and out of Anderson and O'Malley's projects, including Burning Witch. Although all of the Goat's music is kick ass, my favorites are the 'Split with Burning Witch and 'Trampled Under Hoof' EP, which features vocals of Pete Stahl (ex-Wool and The Scream), who sounds similar to Ian Astbury of the Cult.
