Hydrogyn, a West Virginia-based Hard Rock outfit, is a newcomer to the scene. With that said, they certainly don't sound like it. Their debut, 'Bombshell', was produced by none other then Michael Wagener, who has worked with bands such as Skid Row, Ozzy Osbourne, and Alice Cooper, so you know the quality is top-notch. 'Bombshell' even contains a cover of Skid Row's "18 and Life", on which the sizzlin' hot Julie Westlake sounds amazing, and the band executes the song better than the original. Their original promo of 'Bombshell' included a cover of the AC/DC classic "Back in Black", which was replaced with "18 and Life" for the final release. This debut release is a solid effort from start to finish, which will appeal to any Hard Rock fan.

You can expect to hear a lot more about this band in the near future. Hydrogyn, is already a successful live act, fronting their own Strip'Em Blind tour, where they play at strip clubs while the dancers perform. This has proven to be quite pleasing to the crowds, as they repeatedly sell out and are consistently booked for these types of events, not to mention Julie is nothing short of a bombshell on stage herself!
