Helena Iren Michaelsen from Norway is the former female voice of Trail of Tears. She decided to get adventurous and formed her own Gothic Metal band, Imperia. The music is complex and full of emotion and Helena's vocals range from normal to Operatic. There are many Middle Eastern tones beautifully meshed with heavy guitar riffs and symphonic undertones. Helena has also started another new effort called Angel, which you can check out on her official Web site.
