Indigent is a solo Death Metal project of Richard Tomsett from Hampshire, England. Conceived in 2002, Indigent released a home-recorded five track demo in February 2004, which received excellent reviews from press and public alike. Indigent’s music mixes a Death Metal base with elements of Doom and Black Metal, Rhythmic Experimentation, and a strong sense of melody to create a unique atmosphere. The new album, ‘Simulacrum’, released February 2006, continues in the style of the demo while adding fresh sonic elements and improved song-writing.
