RAM is a Power Metal band from Gothenburg, Sweden. RAM was voted "Best Newcomer" by RockHard Magazine in 2004. With their first full-length album, Forced Entry, RAM shows they can take Heavy Metal to more furious, heavier, faster, and progressive levels, while still maintaining a simple and melodic approach.

RAM was formed by guitarist Harry Granroth in 1999 after years of working on materials. He recruited Oscar Carlqvist for the vocal position and started completing old and new songs alike. RAM's career thus far can be described as an underground success story. Thousands of fans have download RAM's Mp3s, pushing RAM to the number one on the "Underground Records" online download list. RAM has supported such bands as Sebastian Bach, Destruction, Blaze, Alice Cooper, Dimmu Borgir, and most notably In Flames and Slayer. RAM also headlined the "Headbangers Open Air" Festival's warm-up party in Itzenhoe, Germany.
