This outstanding, epic Symphonic Metal band from Italy originated in 1993 as Thundercross, which was later changed to Rhapsody. Luca Turilli, one of the finest classical/neo-metal guitarists, is the heart of Rhapsody. He has also released several solo efforts, which are not a far cry from the sounds of Rhapsody. Rhapsody sports some of the finest album cover art, that is if you are into dragons and the such.
